Into the Wild
The subject of this photo revolves all around the beauty of our earth. The meaning is far more important though as it shows how we need to appreiciate it more and take care of the earth we are given. This is what we are given, it is Gods creation and the more we take advantage of it, the less beauty we are seeing.
I used the rule of thirds by placing a head in the bottom left corner. Also, I was able to place all the eyes on the lines. The framing I used is more space to the right side to give more room for the nature to show. I also used color to make the girls stand out because I wanted the viewers to see that playing outside can be so much fun! The point of view is split because one girl is on the ground and the other is in the tree!
My models were able to hold still as I snapped the picture, so the shutter spead just sat at a normal. I did however adjust the aperture so that the girl in the front would be clear and everything else would be blurry behind her. This makes the front tree pop, and then the main focus is represented. Then the eyes drag on to the rest of the photo.
My composition choices show that I am now able to properly work the shutter spead andm sperture settings so that my photo is exactly the way I picture it in my head. There wasnt much experimenting because I knew how to officially work the camera and its parts. This also applies for my technical choices.I would definitely keep my idea of the photo the same, I love how the two girls are enjoying nature. If I had to change anything, I would probably not have zoomed in so much and left more of a frame.
